Claude Morant holds an engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in Paris, France. He is currently Group Vice President managing Manufacturing Quality and Excellence across STMicroelectronics’ front-end Manufacturing sites. He has been Director of Operations at the Tours manufacturing fab, served as Director of Operations and Site Director in Rousset (near Aix-en-Provence), and then, took the lead of the most advanced ST fabs as Crolles Operations Director. Claude is currently driving a new initiative in ST called "Manufacturing Data & Analytics", aiming at providing the organization and tools to leverage Manufacturing Big Data asset. During the round table discussion entitled "Piloting - Maintenance - Operation", he will talk about productivity and maintenance, the use of AI (data collection, anomaly detection, predictive models) and virtual reality (training in particular) for maintenance in the Factory of the Future.
