Alain is Advisor QuantFi, a France-based start-up research firm, co-founded by Kevin Callaghan, specializing in creating quantum computer algorithms for the financial services industry. Alain Chancé is the CEO and founder of Quantalain SASU, a management consulting startup. He is Business Development and Global Partnerships Advisor ODE, L3C, a social enterprise that serves through Quantum Science, Technology and Research (qSTAR). He is a member of La French Tech Paris-Saclay and a shareholder of Quantonation SAS. Alain has over 30 years of experience in major enterprise transformation projects with a focus on data management and governance. Alain is a Qiskit Advocate. He is an IBM Certified Associate Developer - Quantum Computation using Qiskit® v0.2X since 2021. He has completed a number of hackathons pertaining to quantum computing since 2018 and the first Pan-European Quantum Internet Hackathon in 2019. He has successfully completed online courses from Technische Universiteit Delft QTM3x: Architecture, Algorithms, and Protocols of a Quantum Computer and Quantum Internet (2020), University of Berkeley CS-191x: Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Computation (2020) and University of Toronto UTQML101x: Quantum Machine Learning (2019) pertaining to quantum computation and the quantum internet. He has completed ID Quantique (IDQ)'s 11th Winter School Quantum Cybersecurity in the Real World in Switzerland in January 2019. He has a diploma Ingénieur civil des Mines from École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne (1981) a graduate engineering school and research institute aka « Grande École d’Ingénieurs » founded in 1816.
