Those are the people providing programmable infrastructure for the other roles to consume. Open infrastructure is about providing this new role open source solutions for providing infrastructure at scale. With the success of OpenStack and Kubernetes, open infrastructure is in full rise. Digital sovereignty is one of the concerns that will drive further open infrastructure adoption, especially in Europe. What will the next decade of open infrastructure look like?
