Adullact has promoted open source alternatives to local authorities for nearly 20 years. Recently, the association wanted to set up a new service based on Nextcloud for its members, in partnership with the company Arawa. The goal is to allow local authorities to discover an open source solution rather than entrusting their data to well-known alternatives from big American tech firms (Microsoft365, Google Doc, etc.). The idea is not to compete with technology companies that work with open source solutions, but to offer a familiarisation with them to the benefit of the entire open source sector. Pascal Kuczynski, Managing Director of Adullact, and Philippe Hemmel, Chairman of Arawa, will explain the service’s multi-authority operations and approach along with a demonstration.
